It is with great pleasure that we welcome all of you to the 5th Annual National APAMSA Hepatitis B Conference. Every year over 90 APAMSA students and 20 hepatologists from all over the country attend. This conference will highlight the epidemiology, pathophysiology, prevention and treatment of hepatitis B as well as the advocacy and policy efforts to combat this deadly but preventable disease. The conference goal is to serve as the catalyst for many diverse hepatitis B projects across the country.
