The APAMSA Global Health Initiative mission is to educate, support, and mobilize APAMSA medical students to address health issues in Asian countries. Annually, the fellowship is extended to up to 3 recipients engaging in research, volunteering, or study abroad in the 2012 calendar year. The fellows will be awarded $1000 or $500 depending on length of abroad commitment. The award will provide funding for travel or housing as well as an invitation for fellows to present their work at the APAMSA National Conference in the Fall. At the end of the program, fellows will write a field report for publication in the APAMSA Newsletter.
The 2012 cycle has closed – stay tuned for reports from our Fellows and 2013 opportunities!
