Empowering and supporting AANHPI students throughout their professional journeys is a core part of APAMSA’s mission. Join us throughout November as we highlight opportunities and resources to help you explore specialty-specific career paths and advance in your professional development! Here’s what’s coming up this month:
Specialty Conference Travel Grants: Apply for one of two $100 travel grants to help cover the consts of attending a specialty-specific conference. Application deadline is November 17.
Student Specialty Section (SSS): Discover the resources and opportunities available through APAMSA’s SSS.
Specialty Exploration Events: Still deciding on a specialty, or curious about the day-to-day experiences and career paths within a particular specialty? Join us virtually on Zoom for our speaker events on exploring procedural specialties and primary care specialties.

Attending specialty conferences is a great opportunity for prehealth and medical students to learn about advances in their the field, explore career paths, network with students and physicians, and share their research. However, we know that conference expenses can add up!
This November, for Specialty Month, National APAMSA’s Strategy Branch is offering travel grants to help offset the costs of attending a specialty-specific conference.
What: Two $100 travel grants for expenses related to a specialty-specific conference
