Our mission is to increase access to resources, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for the growth and integration of local pre-medical APAMSA chapters with National APAMSA.

Pre-Health Support at APAMSA

Welcome to our National APAMSA Pre-Health page: a hub for mentorship, opportunities and resources, and most of all, community building as you pursue a career in healthcare. Whether you are just starting to explore a health career early in undergrad or in your gap years, this page serves to support you and help you succeed, no matter where you are in your journey.

We’d love to hear from YOU! If there are any specific events, resources, or discounts you would like to see from us, please fill out the feedback form here: https://tinyurl.com/APAMSAPreHealthFeedbackForm. This form will be monitored weekly and discussed by our pre-health committee to implement your insights into practice. Please also feel free to email us at premed@apamsa.org with any questions.

Sincerely,

Angeline Yu & Ryesa Mansoor

Who We Are

The APAMSA Pre-Health community is a national organization powered by 16 active undergraduate chapters across the country. Our chapters are rooted on university campuses, where students have weekly meetings to build peer support, mentorship, and culturally relevant programming tailored to their local communities. Together, these chapters form a national network of aspiring future health professionals committed to equity, service, and cultural representation.

National Pre-Health APAMSA organizes national events and initiatives that connect students across regions. These include two annual pre-health weeks ranging from virtual panels, application workshops, and mock interviews, to podcasts and social media campaigns that enable cross-country collaboration, shared learning, and access to mentors and medical students nationwide, regardless of geographic location.

Our chapters currently include students from:

  • Hunter College
  • Rutgers University – New Brunswick
  • Stony Brook University
  • SUNY Binghamton
  • Temple University
  • University of Pennsylvanie
  • Purdue University
  • Ohio State University
  • Washington University in St. Louis
  • Arizona State University
  • University of Arizona
  • California State University, East Bay
  • Stanford University
  • University of California, San Diego
  • University of Southern California
  • University of Texas, Austin

Through this model, APAMSA Pre-Health ensures that students benefit from both close-knit campus communities as well as the reach, scale and perspective of a national organization.
