
Nikitha Sheth, South Asian Committee Member
Nikitha (“Nikki”) Sheth is a rising third-year (M1) in the 6-year BA/MD program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) School of Medicine. Born to Indian immigrants, she grew up in the suburbs of Chicago and embraced its vibrant cultural diversity.
For the past two years, Nikitha has served on the UMKC APAMSA board as Year 1 Representative, Co-Treasurer, and now Vice President, and looks forward to actively working towards bridging health disparities in AANHPI communities on National Board as a South Asian Committee Member.
In her free time, Nikitha loves dancing (mainly hip-hop!), hiking, and watching sunsets, as well as pursues research in neurosurgery to further her passions for neurosciences.
