Each year, National APAMSA recognizes a physician who has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to the organization’s mission and values. The award honors a physician who has made a significant impact through their mentorship of APAMSA students and leadership in advocacy and outreach in AANHPI communities.

Nominations for the award are submitted by members of the National Board and reviewed and agreed upon by the National Executive Board. The recipient of the award is formally recognized at the annual APAMSA National Conference.
