We are very excited to announce that the 2026 APAMSA West Regional Conference will be held at the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix! Hosted by APAMSA West Region, all APAMSA members, pre-medical members, non-members, and interested students/faculty are welcome to attend this one-day event featuring a variety of AANHPI speakers, panels, workshops, networking opportunities, research presentations, and more!

Rising from the Flames: Growth, Resilience, and Rediscovery
This year’s theme, “Rising from the Flames: Growth, Resilience, and Rediscovery,” reflects on the strength that emerges through challenge and the self-renewal that follows adversity. As future physicians, advocates, and leaders, we recognize that growth often comes from uncertainty, hardship, and transformation.
As we gather together, we hope to honor the resilience of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander communities in medicine while creating a safe space for reflection and healing. Through conversations on health equity, identity, advocacy, and community care, we hope to inspire one another to carry forward both the lessons of the past and the hope for a more compassionate and equitable future.
