Kevin Shi is a fourth-year medical student at UTHealth Houston McGovern Medical School. He was born in Auburn, Alabama, and has also lived in California and now Texas for most of his life, including receiving a B.S.A in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin. He is passionate about APAMSA, especially the Hepatitis Initiative and how it has allowed him to be an advocate for people with disease, including those in his own family. After medical school, he interested in internal medicine and hopes to pursue a career in gastroenterology.
